Raised in Penistone, South Yorkshire Alison Littlewood was always drawn to the written word. So much so that even fate seemed to agree, with the words finding her throughout her life. Originally studying graphic design at University of Northumbria, she was drawn back to the words (and as a result changed to an english and history degree), and again when she was made redundant.
